After having created this blog some time ago, I've decided I should actually post something.
I mostly identify myself as a .NET software developer, currently operating as a consultant on medium term (1-2 year) projects in the government sector. My background is in the Microsoft space, having cut my teeth in development using Visual Basic 3 & 4, and developing desktop applications through VB 6, and onto VB.NET and then to C#. I've built everything from large scale enterprise applications all the way down to small user utilities. I've also been heavily involved in Dynamics CRM projects building "Xrm" solutions that heavily customize the CRM environment.
I've done a bit of web user interface development, and that has been my primary area of personal interest recently. I've tried to keep up with ASP.NET MVC as it evolved rapidly the last few years, but also am experimenting with the deluge of JavaScript SPA frameworks to come out recently (mostly Angular and Durandal).
